Mr Tony You will truly be missed. Your support for my school fundraisers, your jokes about my friend, and the games you play. I will always remember how you and Joya rode up on me in your truck and you met my bodyguard. LOL. I will always remember being apart of that special day you made my friend the happiest woman in the world. I love and miss you.

PRAYERS FOR PEACE, MEREDITH
Tony was such a spirit lifter for me. All Tony had to say to me was "hey kid how's it going!" and made sure I was doing ok. Tony would pass by each of us and always had something funny to say. I never heard Tony complain. He was so joyful and a truly genuine and caring person. He expelled warmth and kindness. He made everyone laugh and tried to seek pity pretending he got in trouble which was never the case.
I was around Tony the last week he was in the office. Our conversation was about some work things and small talk. He seemed a bit worn down but still had a big smile on his face. When I found out he was ill, my heart sank and prayed he would be ok. It was a shock to hear he passed. I will miss him and his spirit. Thank you to the Cogdell family for sharing Tony with us. I am grateful to have known him. He will be the light that will always be shining bright for us.
No matter what, whenever I saw Tony he was always quick to smile. He was such a kind person and so easy to get along with. He brightened up our hallways with his presence. I can't imagine not seeing him around. Such a great loss to our ES family. My deepest condolences to the Cogdell family. I hope you find some peace and comfort knowing how much he touched others' lives. 'Miss Bridget'.
Tony will always have a special place in my heart. He had a gift of making others feel special and could easily brighten anyone's day just by being in his presence. I will miss his voice coming down the hall, his goofy and positive attitude, and his smile. I am so grateful to have known him. I will continue to pray for comfort for Tony's family and for all of us who deeply miss him. ~ Jessica "Jess-Mo"

My condolences, prayers, and thoughts to the Cogdell family and all of those he touched over the years with his kindness, generosity, and humbleness. He made a difference to so many over the years working within human services. We were part of a great crew during our time at Children's Home Society and continued friendship since. So many good times and laughs over the years my friend. Watching UNC V Duke Basketball will never be the same. Will miss you tremendously, my brother but I know you are always here in spirit. RIP. Ryan
