Obituary For Reuben Jones

Mr. Reuben “Rubo” Jones was born November 28, 1948 to the late Charlie and Ida Jones in Early County, Georgia. He had three siblings. Two preceded him in death: Charles Jones and W.D. Jones.

Reuben joined Piney Grove Baptist Church at an early age. His favorite Bible passage was Psalms 23, The Lord is my shepherd. Reuben was educated in the Baker County School System. He graduated from East baker High in 1968. He was employed at Chemical Supply of Albany for 19 years until his health failed.

Reuben leaves to cherish his memory – a devoted and loving friend Ms. Betty J. Webb, of Albany, GA. One daughter Madalyne Johnson (deceased). One brother; Reginald Jones of Albany, GA. Two grandsons: Lawrence and Jeremiah Flowers of Bluffton, GA. One great granddaughter; Cherish Flowers. One sister-in-law: Pauline (Alex) McClendon; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
