Lil Al. That's what all your classmates called you at JD. You were always sweet and kind. I'm glad I got to reconnect with you as a patient at the clinic I worked at. I was surprised to hear of your passing as I thought you were doing well. We never know what Good had planned but we know he never makes mistakes. You are gone but not forgotten. Enjoy your new found presence with our Lord.RIH my friend. Cynthia Mayberry Hall

I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the family find comfort in your cherished memories.
To my true homeboy/classmate from Davis Elementary to Bellingrath. Our friendship even endured those losses we took to JD gave Lanier back in the day. You act just like Big AL even though Red and Freda look just like him you act like him. We loved each others company even though we didn't see each other much. We lived in Lanier court when you and Gertha had your girls. I made it two Wednesdays ago to your daughter's business to support the business, Now God has called you home, you were very concerned about what you ate and you didn't smoke weed or drink alcohol. Your girls are soldiers and you and Gertha taught them love for each other and that's beautiful bro. Rest Easy my friend, last words was "Love you man take care", never knew I'd never see you again.
Celebrating the homegoing of a wonderful father who loved his daughters and was there for them always, our brother in law Aldric "Al" Abernathy. A truly good man who will be missed here on earth. God has called him home because he's finished his assignment here.
Praise be to God for his goodness, mercy, unconditional love and for the sacrifice of his son Jesus for our unmerited redemption.
