Thelmo Kindle Jr. departed this life on March 16, 2021 at Hospice of Piedmont. He was born on August 19, 1955, the son of the late Thelmo Kindle, Sr. and Sadie Maxwell Kindle. He’s reunited with his siblings, sister, Kay LeVern Allen; brothers, Darryl Allen, Johnny Kindle and Terry Kindle.
Thelmo was a life-long member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. At Mount Vernon he served on the Senior Usher Board, where he a member of the W. U. Harris Men’s Sunday School class.
Surviving to cherish Thelmo’s memories are his sisters, Linda Allen, Thelma K. Cheek, Kimberly K. Michael, Penelope Kindle; brothers David Kindle, Gary Kindle (Gwen), Maurice Kindle (Sharon), Bobby Kindle; and host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.
A private funeral service will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. F.O. Bass, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. Mr. Kindle may be viewed on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
