Stephanie Martin was born on July 8, 1967, to George and Flossie Martin in East Meadow, New York. On February 2, 2023, while on her way to work, Stephanie was unexpectantly called to her rest.
She was baptized at an early age. Affectionately known to close family and friends as Fee, she was educated in the Hempstead, New York school system. She furthered her education by attending Molloy College, now known as Molloy University in Rockville Centre, New York. Those that knew Fee entrusted her to care for their children as she babysat often. Most people take pride in their cooking skills, Fee was known for her unique and extraordinary recipes for making the best punch, not to mention her skillful hands at making beef patties. Family and friends are now asking themselves who will pick up the torch to follow in her footsteps. Stephanie loved playing the game of spades. Anyone who sat down with her as a partner knew in advance, she expected nothing less than a win. If not, her partner and everyone in the room knew she would seek revenge in a fun and loving way. At the time of her death, Fee was a customer service employee of Truist Bank.
She not only loved God, her love also was displayed openly abundantly for family and friends. But her enormous love was shown for her daughter, Keilan also known as Kee Lo Lo. No doubt the apple of Fee’s eye was her granddaughter, Alaiya. Everyone knew Fee would move heaven and earth for her only grandbaby.
She leaves to celebrate her life and wisdom, her daughter, Keilan Lopez and her granddaughter, Alaiya Reel. Her siblings, Gerry Ellis, MaryAnn White, Marie Martin, and John Martin will have opportunities to share wonderful memories with other family, friends, and co-workers. Not to mention there are numerous nieces, nephews and close friends who will miss her dearly. Her parents, George and Flossie Martin, along with a sister, Tonia Martin and two brothers, Michael Martin and Mark Martin preceded her in death.
Today we are saddened but rejoice knowing God has gained the best spade playing punch making beef patty making chic we know.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
