Ms. Jasmine Faye Warren

May the family receive some semblance of peace at this time. Ms. Warren and I worked together for a time at Welborn Academy and she always provided such support, kindness and mentorship towards others. I feel for her son and family whom she always spoke of during time with her. She will be so missed.

To the family of Jasmine. Although our families were connected many years before, she and I met as we worked together at AT&T. Jazz was a joy and brought a smile in with her each day through her entire shift!

It saddens me to hear of her passing. I know this will be a tremendous loss to her loved ones! She had a beautiful spirit!

She recently told my Daddy, Manuel to tell me hello as they ran into each other in passing.

Jasmine was truly an amazing person. Always pleasant and supportive to her family and friends. She was a phenomenal grandmother to our grandchildren. I couldn't asked for a better grandmother to co grandparent with. She was very dedicated to the grandchildren we shared and loved them dearly. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of Jasmine "Jazzy" Faye Warren. I feel like I've known Faye all of my life. I remember meeting her when I was just 5 yrs. old. She lived two doors down from us on Meadowbrook. To our family, Faye was like having another sister, and YES, she was "All Legs" even when she was 11 years old. When I was 22, I came "Home" from California, for a visit, with my 2 year old son. Faye and her 4 year old son, picked us up and we spent the entire day together. We had an awesome day! Just two young Mom's hanging out, laughing at folks, and acting crazy. She was so funny! Her personality was so full of joy. She could have you cracking up laughing at the silliest stuff. She is going to truly be missed. We're asking GOD to provide her family with love, strength and all of the comfort; they will need during this difficult time of sadness. She babysat for us often, and as we became adults, we hung out from time to time. She loved books. She would come to the Raleigh/Durham area, where I live, for the annual library book sales. It was always an adventure hanging out with Jazzy Faye! She had a beautiful, wonderful spirit, as she would say, "Girl, they good people, you hear me?" She was definitely "good people." She was very expressive, intelligent and kindhearted! She came to support me when I opened a business and celebrated my success! Jazzy was like family to me. Rest in Paradise in the arms of our Lord! When I spoke to Faye over the telephone on Saturday, I didn't know it would be the last time we would ever conversate. We often ran into each other in the community from time to time and we would always discuss, life, the economy, finances and friends we had in common. When I got the news of her passing on Monday it really saddened me, especially since I had just talked to her on Saturday and the last thing I said to her was, "we're still above ground." You were the life of any gathering that you and I attended. Your presence will be greatly missed.
