Mrs. Tizita Yemane Mekuria was born to her mother, Mrs. Workinesh Kassa, and her father, Mr. Yemane Mekuria, in Addis Ababa’s Piazza area, on May 2, 1973. When she was old enough for education, she attended elementary school at Lideta Catholic Cathedral. She then attended secondary school at the General Wingate School and graduated with a diploma in accounting.

Mrs. Tizita Yemane after getting married to her husband, Mr. Tirusew Nigussie Demissie, moved to the United States of American, settled in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and raised their children, Abenezer Tirusew and Mahlett Tirusew.

Mrs. Tizita Yemane was a strong spirited and very diligent mother in all aspects. She was a hardworking and a strong mother, especially in raising her children.

Mrs. Tizita was receiving medical treatment due to her health conditions, and passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2024, at the age of 51.

Mrs. Tizita Yemane was loved and respected by her husband and children, by her 2 brothers and 3 sisters, as well as all her friends and other family members. May the Almighty Lord comfort her husband Mr. Tirusew Nigussie Demissie, her children, other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 1,2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens The family will receive friends at tbe chapel from 10:30 a.m. until 11:0] a.m.
