Mrs. Argie Mae Little Christian of High Point, N.C., departed this earthly life and gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was born on October 23, 1934, in Richmond County, NC, to the late Sherman and Lillie Mae Pemberton Little. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Christian, her daughter, Argie Bea Christian Caldwell, and her sister, Sally Bea Harmon.
Argie Mae dedicated her life to Jesus Christ at an early age. She received her education in Richmond County, North Carolina. For many years, she was employed at Russell Havell Hosiery in Mt. Gilead, NC. Later, she relocated to High Point, NC, where she was employed at Fli-Back Manufacturing, Merita Bakery, and SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for the Triad, from which she retired.
Throughout her life, Argie Mae was a beacon of love and unwavering dedication, touching the hearts of many. Her profound legacy continues to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know her, reminding them of the power of kindness and devotion.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her son, Arthur Lee Little of High Point, NC; three daughters, Diane (Lee) Eleby of High Point, NC; Brenda (Thomas) Humphrey of Greensboro, NC; and Jeanette Reid of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Octavia J, Carlos, Latitia, Kwanza, Ulandis, Rodriquez, Octavia B., and Malcolm; thirteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
