Obituary For Mr. Tre'Corious Jahieem Bethea

Tre’Corious Jahieem Bethea, affectionately known as “Tre”, was born on May 19, 2006, to Michon N. Pegues and the late LaTroy R. Bethea in High Point, NC. He departed this life on July 13, 2021 at the tender age of 15.

Tre was an upcoming Sophomore at T. Wingate Andrews High School. He enjoyed playing videos, card games, listening to music, dancing, and being a jokester. Tre was a part of the Macedonia Baseball League and he loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Tre’ was preceded in death his maternal grandparents, Oscar Douglas and Janet Pegues; maternal great grandfathers, Frank Pegues and Miller C. Carter, Sr.; paternal great grandparents, James and Maggie Bethea; uncle, Dontray Bethea; great aunt, Gwendolyn Pegues Quick (Thomas); cousin, LaTosha N. Pegues.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Michon Pegues (Dewan Kinsler); his siblings, Brandon, Bryant, Bri’Yanna, Ja’Mya, La’Kenya, Destiny, JaQuasia, Deontre’, LaKiyah, Journey, MaKayla and Bryson; grandparents, Alfonzo Sr. and Nancy Bethea; god grandmother, Pamela Pegues; aunts, Chere’ Pegues, Precious Kollock and Erika Kollock; and a host of nieces, nephews, special cousins, other relatives, and good friends.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 204 Turner St., Thomasville, NC. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.

Tre was a young man with a good heart and spirit and would always put a smile on your face. I worked with Tre when he was at Eckerd and I will always remember his smile and awesome personality.
