Saddened to hear of the transitioning of my good friend from years past. He was such a sweetheart and no matter what, always had my back. I can still see those Dimples and that twinkle in your eyes when we were laughing, which was often "Tank". I will hold those memories close in my Heart. My brother left me without saying good goodbye to me.Missing my brother is a very hard pill to swallow.. I have my cousin Gwen to call me Geraldine .He would tell me when I'm looking good to him he would tell me Geraldine your car is dirty that's not you ..To know my brother is to know he don't like a dirty car..When he would get a new lady he would ask me what I think about dating her ..of course Geraldine had a answer .My opinion didn't never count I really didn't know why he asked. Tank was really Family, where ever we were gathered together my brother Tank would always show up and he was always Welcome. I don't come that way a lot but I always looked to see my brother Tank. It truly saddens my heart, that you are no longer with us.Ray was a meek & humble man; who diligently took time in serving others.I especially thank him for being that "special someone" in my sister Mary Champion's life. He highly regarded me as his sister-in-law, and I respected that. He often asked me, "You got anything sweet down there"? I enjoyed satisfying his "sweet tooth", by baking cakes & pies.Ray worked & served at Becky & Mary Cafe; then went on to work at Food Lion on N.Main Street.
