Obituary For Mr. Lendon Smith

Mr. Lendon Ray Smith, affectionately known as “Piggy,” 55, departed his earthly life on December 5, 2024. He was born in High Point, NC on March 29, 1969, a son of the late McLendon and Nellie Hough Smith. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Arlee and Ardenia Dumas Hough; and a cousin, Darrius Hough.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Dorian Buie; a son, Christopher Alford; two grandchildren; two sisters, Debbie Smith of High Point, NC and Tina Smith (Jeremy) of Thomasville, NC; two brothers, Kenny Hough and Adrean Smith, both of High Point, NC; aunts, Shirley Foster and Deborah Hough of High Point, NC; special aunts, Geraldine Neal and Rose Alston of High Point, NC; uncles, Terry Hough of High Point, NC, Robert (Inez) Hough of Thomasville, NC, Wallace Hough of Winston-Salem, NC, and Andre Hough of Conover, NC; a special friend, Gwen Tomlin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.

Sending my deepest sympathy and condolence to the family. Piggy you were such a fun guy to be around the life of the party.I'm such a caring person. You had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody that you could. You always kept a smile on your face even know you was feeling your worse. And it's even harder to say goodbye to someone who was such a good person and friend and you don't find out about them passing until it's too late and you don't get a chance to say goodbye as you would like to.
