Mr. Kaelin James Pauling departed his earthly journey on March 7, 2022, peacefully in his sleep from complications with Sickle Cell Anemia. He was born on July 9, 1994 in High Point, NC, to Charles Pauling and Gracie LeGrande Pauling. Kaelin attended the public schools of Guilford County and was a graduate of T. Wingate Andrews High School, Class of 2012. He was in pursuant of his Bachelor Degree from UNC-Charlotte. Kaelin was employed with Target Corporation as a retail sales associate. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he sang on the Buds of Promise Choir, and served on the Usher Board. Kaelin was a fun, loving, and thoughtful young man. He greeted everyone with a smile. He was loved so dearly by his family, friends, and co-workers. Kaelin will truly be missed, but never forgotten. Kaelin is survived by his parents, Charles Pauling and Gracie LeGrande Pauling; two brothers, Charles Pauling (Tanja), and Joshua Pauling; one sister, Courtney Baker; grandfather, Jesse James David; a nephew, Elijah, whom he cherished so dearly; an aunt and godmother, Carolyn Wright (Jerry); aunts, Antoinette Hingleton, and Frances Carter; uncles, Eddie LeGrande (Emma), Ricky LeGrande, and James βChrisβ David; a great-uncle, Harry Lisenby (Shirley) of Maryland; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
