Mr. Eddie B. Davis departed this life on January 8, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 11, 1939, the son of the late Minnie Clifton Davis and Willie Davis.
Eddie B. attended William Penn High School in High Point, North Carolina. He received numerous accolades for his exceptional talent in art, showcasing his creative abilities, and dedication to his craft. Eddie's passion for artistry followed him throughout his life. He worked and retired from Woodmark Originals in High Point, NC.
In June 1964, he met and married the love of his life, Alice Davidson. They made Guilford County their home for 60 years. He enjoyed socializing throughout the city and was a sports fanatic who loved debating current events with family and friends, always eager to share his insights and hear different perspectives.
In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his grandson, Natory R. Davis; his brothers, Willie Davis, Jr., Wilbert (Nick) Davis, Robert (Bobby) Davis and sisters, Lucy Pearl Davis Fair, Lena Davis Black and Ocie Mae McNair.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Davis; his children, Erick Davis (Lucretia) of Wichita, KS; Robin Michelle Davis of the home, Edwin Davis of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Kammaria Davis of High Point, NC; Erick Davis, Jr., of Wichita, KS; and great-grandchildren, Jamarie Williams and Antonio Williams, Jr. (June) of High Point, NC, two sisters-in-law, Harriet Davis of Providence, RI, Martha Davis of Virginia Beach, VA along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
