Sharon Kellam Hylton 70, of Stoneville, NC passed, Monday, November 20, 2023. Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. β 7:30 p.m., Friday, November 24, 2023, at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC . The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 12:30 p.m. β 1:00 p.m. at Burning Bush Holiness Church, 703 N. Glenn Street, Stoneville, NC with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Stoneville Community Cemetery.
Sharon Kellam Hylton 70, of Stoneville died November 20, 2023 at UNC Rockingham Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center in Eden, NC. She was born in Martinsville, VA to Dorothy B. Kellam and the late Elder William Kellam.
She attended various schools and later in her life, she received her GED and was very happy and proud. She worked in textiles until her health failed. Sharon was married to Artrice Hylton and to this union two daughters were born; Sheila King and Wendy Hylton. She was a member of The Greater Burning Bush Holiness Church. Sharon was a devoted mother and Grandmother. She loved her family and mother dearly. She was a joy to be around and was always willing to help in any way she could. She attended Davita Dialysis Center for many years and handled it with minimal complaints. She loved to shop and you could find her many days in Goodwill finding a bargain.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Artrice Hylton, and her brother, Nathaniel Kellam.
She is survived by her mother; Dorothy Kellam of the home, Daughters; Sheila King (Roy) of Eden, NC and Wendy Hylton of Madison, NC. Two grandsons; Isaiah and Nathan Harris, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law and her special friend; Linda Wall and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends cherish her memory.
