Obituary For Ronald Edward Roberts

Ronald Edward Roberts, 64 passed Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel of Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC beginning at 12 noon.

Mr. Ronald Edward Roberts went home to be with the Lord and departed this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at his home in Greensboro, NC. He was born on December 12, 1958 to the late Mr. Arnie and Mrs. Floretta Roberts.

He attended public schools in Rockingham County and graduated from Stoneville High School in Stoneville, NC in the class of 1977. He also served in the United States Army. He was a dedicated employer of Evonik in Greensboro, NC for many years.

Ronald was a kind and loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He had a warm personality and was loved by all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He would give you the shirt off his back. His most prideful accomplishment in life was the day he became a father. His son, Derek was his pride and joy and he loved him with all his heart, mind and soul. He was sports fanatic and his favorite teams were the Tarheels and the Red Skins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Deacon Boyd and Mrs. Thelma Dalton, his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Henry Roberts, one brother-in-law, Mr. Timmy Ray Scales and a host of other loving relatives.

He leaves to mourn his loss the following family members, one devotede and faithful son, Mr. Derek Roberts, two sisters, Mrs. Debra Nemo (Gayle) of Martinsville, VA, Mrs. Laurs Ann Scales of Stoneville, NC, three brothers, Deacon Christopher Roberts and Mr. Tony Roberts of Stoneville, NC, Mr. Don Roberts of Greensboro, NC, two aunts, Mrs. Louvenia Dudley of Stoneville, NC, Mrs. Naomi Roberts of Dale City, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
