Nannette was born April 28, 1944 in Madison, North Carolina to the late Robert Lee and Mona Claybrooks Dalton. To their union, five children were born. She is proceeded in death by brother, Robert Dalton, Jr., of Stoneville, NC in 2015.

Leaving to cherish her memory, two sisters, Minister Minnie Parker of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Janice D. McNeill and brother, Larry Dalton both of Raleigh, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She attended Mount Carmel Holiness Church for many years with family young and old, this is where she was born again at the age of 18.

Nannette graduated from the Charles R. Drew High School, Madison, NC in 1961. She was led by the Holy Spirit to attend and did graduate from Miracle Valley Bible College in Bisbee, Arizona. Led by founder, God's Man of Faith and Power, Reverend A. A. Allen, who had thousands upon thousands of recorded miracles, there and around the world.

Nannette moved to Raleigh, NC in 2001, she was employed with Belk department store. In 2004 she traveled to Zimbeabwe, Africa, where she taught in a conference on prayer. There she had the privilege of seeing the Lord manifest to his people in a mighty way.

Those of us who knew her and those who were ministered to by her, truly believe that because of her obedience, the Lord of Glory said, after her death, “Nannette, you have fought a good fight, you have finished the race, you have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give you on the day of his return. The prize, not just for you, but all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.”

II Timothy 4: 7-8 NLT
