Ms. Edwards, I am saddened by Michael's passing. though i did not meet him personally, his impact on the lives of men he ministered to at the City Annex will be felt for eternity. Few are called to ministry to the incarcerated, and fewer still are brave enough to answer the call. I praise God that he was faithful to answer that call, touching the lives of many broken people, sharing the Love of Christ with them. I pray for you as you grieve the loss of you help mate, that God will sustain you. Chaplain Joe Collins, Good News Jail & Prison Ministry

Veleria & family, I am so sad about Michael. He was always kind to everyone and such a tremendous help with NAACP and FAHI museum activities where I got to know him. He will be missed by all of us in those organizations and all who knew him. I really believe he is in the care of our Lord and at peace. He was a wonderful person. I will be praying for you and your family.
