John “Puddin” Edward Galloway, 79 of Reidsville, NC passed Monday February 16, 2025. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home Chapel 511 Henry Street, Eden, NC with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p .m. Interment will be follow at Hairston’s Cemetery, 174 Shady Grove Road, Eden, NC.
At other times the family will receive visitors at the home of Brenda Mitchell 806 George St. Reidsville, NC.
John E. Galloway, 79 of Reidsville, Nc departed this life on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at his home. John was born in Rockingham County, NC on December 20, 1945 to the late Robert S. Galloway and Lois Holt Galloway.
He labored in various farming and construction jobs in the county until his retirement. He attended Little Bethlehem Christian Church. John enjoyed sitting in his recliner and watching his “westerns” for several hours. He was a man of few words but strong mind and determination.
In addition to is deceased parents, his brothers; Jerome Galloway and Harold Galloway (Margretta) preceded him in death.
Survivors are beloved sisters; Patricia Watkins (Jimmy), Janette McCollum (Bishop McCollum), Armanda Brim, Deborah Graves and Brenda Mitchell (Clayton). Brothers; James Galloway and Ray Charles Galloway; aunts; Nancy of Baltimore, Maryland Lola of Winston-Salem; sister-in-law; Theressa Galloway, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
