Ronnie was a proud resident of Stokesdale and was a 1971 graduate of Northwest Guilford High School, Greensboro, NC.
Many years ago, Ronnie accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Oak Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He attended several Men’s Retreats and Encounters. Today, we came together to celebrate the life of Ronnie. Ronnie’s spirit will forever live on in the memories each of us cherish and the love he shared with his family and friends.
Everyone who knew Ronnie knew he enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports (Lowe22). He enjoyed joking around, laughing and having a good time with his friends and family. “Cool, cool!” Ronnie enjoyed detailing cars and was always excited when someone asked him for his service. He enjoyed sports especially watching his Washington Commanders Football Team and we the family are so thrilled he was able to see them win this past Sunday night. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and just knew he was the best horseshoe thrower ever. He enjoyed any opportunity to go fishing with his friends and family. He enjoyed playing pool, bowling and loved engaging in a good card game. Let’s not forget his love for fried chicken, a tall glass of ice-cold water and his specialty stove top popcorn.
