Obituary For Jeffrey Chazz Dickerson

Mr. Jeffrey Chazz Dickerson, 27, of Eden, NC died March 14, 2020. Public Visitation will be Monday, March 23, 2020 from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. at Perry Spencer Funeral Chapel, Eden, NC.

Jeffrey was called home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2020 at the age of 27 years old. He was born in Rockingham County on March 6, 1993 to Tina Smith and the late Jeffrey Lynn Dickerson. Chazz attended both Reidsville High School and Barlett Yancey High School. He was employed by his uncles at Dickerson Landscaping and also with Rooms To Go. In addition to being a hardworking man, he was also known for his smile that could light up the whole room. He found enjoyment in being outside in nature and truly knew the value of all the things God created.

Family was one thing that Chazz never took for granted. His bond with his oldest sister, Whitney Dickerson was unmatched. The kindness and love shared between him and his baby sisters, Jazlyn, Jala and Ramiyah Smith is a relationship that will never be broken. He found so much joy in calling his mother, Tina Smith every Sunday to prepare him his favorite meals. His relationship with the Lord was reflected in all the actions he did. No matter the person, no matter the need, Chazz never hesitated to share what he had even when he went without, he found a way. He leaves to cherish precious memories: his mother; Tina Smith, stepfather; Charles Smith, daughter; Naomi (Juju), his fiancée; Heather Moyer, sisters; Whitney Dickerson, Jazlyn Smith, Jala Smith, Ramiyah Smith, his bonus daughter; Jordyn Moyer, grandmother; Irene Dickerson and Christine Lawson, nephew; A.J. Dickerson, best friends; John-John, Leon, Scott, Clay and Chris. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends and other relatives.

My prayers are with the family doing this very sad time

Praying for my dear friend Tina and her daughters during this painful time. I've been knowing Chazz since I was 14 years old and he was always so sweet and joyful everytime I was around him. He loved to joke around and had a great sense of humor. He is in Heaven now with his father looking down on his family. I will never forget that smile and that giggle. Love you Chazz!!! ~HOLLYBERRY~

Chazz had a smile that would bring the sun out in the rain. He was one of those friends you have for a lifetime. We didn't speak everyday or every week, but he always made a point to check on me and the boys. Always said if I ever needed anything not to hesitate to ask. He would find a way to make it happen. Chazz had the biggest heart and the sweetest soul. He was so special to so many people. The laughs , singalongs, and long talks will never be forgotten. Chazz will forever be the angel I talk to at night and the shooting star i look for in the sky. LONG LIVE CHAZZ.
