Mr. George Searcy, 74, of Walkertown, NC, died Thursday, July 4, 2024. Public viewing will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. ar Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.at Mary D. Perry Chapel of Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC with the service beginning ar 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Dry Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 3965 Pine Hall Road, Walnut Cove, NC.
Mr. George Lee Searcy, 74, of 6760 Sullivan Town Road, Walkertown, NC passed away peacefully at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC July 4, 2024 after a battle with cancer. He was born July 2, 1950, to the late Mrs. Ella Louise Searcy Martin.
George graduated from London High School, Walnut Cove, NC. He eas employed with N & G Construc tion Companyy in Walkertown, NC.
George was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Annie Searcy, sister, Shirley Hughes, brother, Charles Hughes and stepson, Bruce Fulton.
He leaves to cherish: two stepchildren; Marcus and Chris Fulton, sister; Janet Carter (Roger), two brothers; Keith Huges (Comaletha) and Rene Hughes of Walnut Cove, NC. aunt; Mary Pankey, two uncles; Aldine Searcy and Richard Searcy of Winston Salem, NC. Caregivers; Pasty Whitlock, Mary Pankey and Daniel Elliott along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

I am glad to have known George for over 40 years. George was a part of the Elliott family for so many years that my children and grandchildren don't know life without him.
