Gearldine Hairston Davis, 78 of Walnut Cove, NC passed Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. โ 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home Madison, NC . The family will receive friends Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. โ 1:00 p.m. in the Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel of Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. with service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Geraldine Davis, a native of Stokes County, was born March 28, 1946 in Walnut Cove, NC to the late Marshall and Lake Hairston. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Geraldine attended and graduated from London High School.
Geraldine played a special part in caring for several of her nieces and nephews for her sisters and brothers. She found love and on March 13, 1981, married the love of her life, Wesley Tee Davis. On October 31, 1983, they welcomed their one and only son, Wesley Terrail Davis.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wesley tee Davis and her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Wesley Terrail Davis; one precious granddaughter, Aaleigha Terrai Davis; brother, Tommy Hairston (Judi) of Madison, NC; sister, Shirley Calloway of Winston Salem, NC; brother, Danny Hairston of Walnut Cove, NC; brother, Danny Hairston of Walnut Cove, NC,; brother, Otis Hairston (Carolyn) of Winston Salem, NC; sister, Marvetta Hairston of Walnut Cove, NC; Bill Hairston of Madison, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Geraldine, affectionately known as โGeraldโ will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. Geraldine is gone from our sight, but she will never be forgotten.
Sleep well in Christ sister until we meet again.
