Mr. Eric Tijuan (Mickey) Hampton,40, died June 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Sunny Home Baptist Church in Eden, NC. Burial will be in Eden Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the church.

Eric, known to family and friends, "Mikey" was born on January 29, 1979 Mikey received his education at Draper Elementary School and Morehead High School in Eden, N.C. Mikey enjoyed spending quality time with both family and friends. He had a passion for challenging his loved ones on various video games and riding his motorcycle. Eric, later moved to West Palm Beach, FL to assist his younger brother, Dante in reconstructing in remodeling and the start of a new restaurant called "Joanne’s Southern Kitchen". Mikey was well received by both staff and customers with his contagious smile. After returning to Eden, NC. Mikey was employed at Gildan Active Wear Distribution where he put in countless hours. He was truly a dependable and hardworking young man. Mikey departed this life untimely on Saturday, June 15, 2019. He will certainly be missed and never forgotten his smile and distinctive laugh shall forever live. He leaves to cherish his memory mother; Joanne Hampton Jackson, father; Herbert Cummings, three sons; Darel Wilkerson of Sterling VA, Tyliek Scales of Eden, NC, Tyquel Hampton " Buddah" of Ridgeway VA, brothers; Dante Hampton (Jacob) of West Palm Beach, FL, Tio Jackson of Eden, NC. sisters; Troyce Markia Jackson "Kia", Kirsten Jackson both of Eden, NC, Diana Graves, Idea Graves both of Reidsville NC., sister-cousin; Nikki Hampton brother-cousin; B.J. Hampton, maternal grandmother; Gariann Broadnax " Pete Broadnax", maternal grandfather the late Stephen Hampton, aunts; Sandra and Janet Hampton Rosalyn and Pamela Jackson. Uncles; Steve, Jeff and Joey Hampton. A special friend Monteece Clark, and a host of sorrowing friends.
