Obituary For Tammy Faison
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 1:30 pm in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home located at 909 East Market Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. Visitation will be held at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens located at 5710 Riverdale Drive in Jamestown, North Carolina.
Tammy Marie Faison, 55, of Jamestown, NC, departed this world for eternal rest on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Born to Johnnie and Sylvia Faison in Clinton, NC on December 18, 1969, Tammy was the elder sister of Stephanie Faison.
Tammy began her educational journey at Walker Elementary School in Fayetteville, NC until her family moved to Greensboro, where she attended Gateway Education Center. Following her time at Gateway, Tammy was an avid participant in the Lifespan Program, where she enjoyed creating pottery at the Mosaic Studio.
In her spare time, Tammy loved working on puzzles, solving word search booklets, bowling, and relaxing in the comfort of a clean home. Her favorite travel destinations included Williamsburg, VA, Orlando, FL, and her Grandmother Essieβs home.
Tammy is survived by her loving parents, Johnnie and Sylvia Faison of Jamestown, NC; her devoted sister, Stephanie Faison of Greensboro, NC; maternal grandmother, Essie Beamon of Clinton, NC; maternal aunts: Linnie Mayes (Garland) of Faison, NC, Edna Beamon of Concord, NC, Celestine Batts (Frank) of Yorktown, VA, and Reta K. Elliott of Fayetteville, NC; maternal uncle, Vitus Beamon (Bonnie) of Fayetteville, NC; paternal aunts: Barbara Williams (Tommy) of Turkey, NC and Lisa Potts (Eric) of Raleigh, NC; paternal uncles: Joseph Faison of Raleigh, NC, Dave Faison of Atlanta, GA, and Darius Faison of Turkey, NC. She is also lovingly remembered by a host of extended family and dear friends who cherished her deeply.

Tammy was my first niece and first live doll baby. She navigated her life's journey on her own terms. "Tam Tam" enjoyed eating at McDonald's and shopping at Walmart just like her auntie.
