Karen and family, I was so sad to learn that Ruth had passed away. I know she is in heaven with George and they are having the best time. I also know that your mom and dad trust you to carry on the legacy they have left in your caring hands. Your mom was an amazingly strong woman. When she walked into a room, people automatically gravitated towards her. My mom, Toby, and my dad adored both your parents and had the utmost respect for them and you. Your parents were our heroes and what amazing examples of strength, passion, love for others, and their love for God. We and so many thousands more are better because they gave of themselves so unselfishly to all of us. You have your mom and dads heart. You also have your moms strength and compassion to lead. The next days, weeks and months and even years, you will hear her voice guiding you to complete the race. I am sure your dad and my mom and dad along with Sue Lynn and dex and Birdie are having the best time. That is what I think about when I miss them so much or need guidance. I love you Karen.
