First of all, I had absolutely no idea until today that Skipp had died. I decided to look up his obituary today. My husband, Art Wall, worked with him at the Bulk Mail Center. He was a good friend to both of us and I remember him helping us move into our new home in 2009. I have been calling now and then and even messaged Skipp on Facebook and sent him two Christmas cards ! Turns out Skipp actually died the same day as Art's funeral! So they died almost a week apart. We both loved Skipp and my wish is that he and Art are hanging around in Heaven together!
We worked together flagging nights @ NYC Transit. I have found memories working with Skip. May he RIP. Bill Zerillo. AKA baby Zee.
Praying God will continue strengthen the family. With sincere love and sympathy. James and Fannel White
I've met you late in my life but you always seemed like you would've been that "cool uncle skip" that would do anything for the family.... Especially the kids.
You will be missed dearly.

God sent us this Angel in the form of Pop Skipp. He shared his love with us for this brief time to show us the power of his love. Rest in Power my Brother see you on the other side.
As I write this with a sad heart I try to dwell on the life you lived and the things you taught me along your journey. The first thing that comes to mind is me learning from you How to wear and knot a tie. You and all of my uncles had an Impeccable style of dress that you passed on to me and my Cousins. The suits, shoes and the colognes we use to wear trying to mimic you makes me smile. You taught us how to be honorable and respectful young Black men that learned to embrace our African ancestory with Pride. Your not gone but resting and live on in each and every one of us. Rest uncle Skipped until we meet again!
Condolences to the White and Hussey Family. May His Soul Rest in Peace . We Will Continue to Keep your Family in Prayer. C.C (Connie )
