Cousins, it is so hard to hear of Mikki passing. We grew up together on Brandon Chapel Road. I am so proud of the woman she became. I say to her family cherish all your memories and keep her legacy going. She loved you guys. I talked to her since she retired and moved to Brown Summit and she was so happy. To the family of Mikki Harris, I met your loved one through the NAACP and Local 400. We instantly became friends much like family. She was a go getter who loved her family and serious about her work. I spoke with her a while back and she informed me of her move and she was so happy. Retired and enjoying life. I am so glad she had the opportunity to be free from work and enjoying family. Will always hold fond memories in my heart💔💔🥰🙏🏾

I am so sorry to hear Mikki passed. Mikki and I shared a love of art and jewelry. We were also close in age. She turned me on to African wedding necklaces, and I designed and made a few pieces of jewelry for her. She became Secretary Treasurer for Local 400 a few years after I became Secretary Treasurer of Local 135. So we had that in common as well. I know how much she loved her children. My thoughts and prayers to her children, the rest of her family, and all that knew and loved her. Rest well Mikki!
