i still look back at the day we met and still cant believe that he is gone...i mean i didnt rlly know it happen last year a couple months ago after his death i still wish that i was at his funeral..i feel like his death is my fault sometimes he was so sweet and caring he loved me and i loved him i just wish i can go back in time to here those words again i will always love u jonathan!~love A'kashi

Wow... What can I say Jonathan was such a sweetheart....he would brighten up my day every time I picked him up on SCAT...our conversations were about church, school, and so much more. I still remember the day God sent you to this earth. You were truly a surprise. You were so tiny that I believed you could fit in the palm of my hand. So sad to see such a kind person go so soon. My heart dropped when I heard the news because I would've never thought such a kind person could go so soon. I never knew him very personally but I followed him on Instagram and even then I could feel his positivity. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this hard time.

I had the privilege of knowing Jonathan through the Mercy Hill Church student ministry. I was his group leader for 2 years. I would give him rides to and from the church. We shared so many conversations on those rides. We prayed, talked, and had lots of fun together. He would always ask me, "can we listen to Travis Green in the car?" I have many great memories with Jonathan I can reflect on. He was a joyful soul, and rarely ever didn't have a smile on his face. It was a blessing to get to know him. Rest In Peace Jonathan, may I see you again one day in Glory.

Jonathan never failed to put a smile on my face whenever I saw him in school. I would talk to Jonathan every now and then at lunch and he was always such a kind soul. He would crack jokes with me and always make funny conversation. He is the type of person who will never be forgotten. The world needs more people like Jonathan he will be missed dearly.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan at Lee's Chapel UMC Monday Night Live Worship and Tutoring program. We all were blessed by Hus friendly and contagious joyful presence. My name is Madison. I was in a dark place when I met I met Jonathan and he kept on telling me to look to God for my answers and I did and I found all of them. He was an amazing person with the kindest heart and soul I have ever seen in my life. Thank you for raised an amazing person like him.

I was not very close with Jonathan, but I could tell he was an incredibly kind person and I'm glad I was able to meet him. I'm very sorry to hear about his passing and I will be keeping his family in my thoughts.

I didn't know Jonathan well, but i had the pleasure of meeting him a few times when the EC kids came to sing with the vocal department at Grimsley. I remember he was so jubilant when he came to sing with us, and he always had a smile on his face. It was contagious! He was such a beautiful, vibrant soul, and his presence is deeply missed. I had Jonathan in my class when he was a young man. He was always cheering his classmates on and encouraging them. Jonathan was a talker for sure! Jonathan is making the rounds in heaven making everyone smile. Prayers for Cheryl for strength and comfort.

Jonathan was in my sisters class, and the number one thing i remembered was his big bright smile, he lit up a room simply by just being in it. He always made me laugh or smile, even when i was down. I will always remember how at special olympics i would always cheer him on. He will forever be missed.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jonathan for 6 years. He was always full of joy and his smile radiated that wherever he went at both Kiser and Grimsley. At both Kiser and Grimsley I would sit with the EC classroom some days at lunch, and I always was excited for the opportunity to talk with Jonathan. He always made sure to include and share his heart with everyone in his class, or anyone he passed in the hallway. On social media he always made sure to reflect and share his love for Christ which always encouraged me, and many others I'm sure, as I went throughout my day. Jonathan, what a charming young man. The first time I took notice of him was @ the holiday/Christmas shopping event they offer for GCS Exceptional Children students @ Four Seasons Mall. I was a parent chaperone for my son Adam also in his class. Down in the lower amphitheater area, they had fun music playing & kids were dancing, having a ball. A microphone got passed around for a couple minutes. It got passed to Jonathan, he sang & had a beautiful gospel choir singing voice! His smile & laughter lit up that area & all the people there.
