Obituary For Gail Pedersen

Gail Louise Pedersen, a loving woman of God, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many passed away on April 10th, 2024 in Snow Camp, North Carolina. She was born in Manhattan, New York on January 23rd, 1952.

Gail's life was one filled with love and compassion. Her kindness knew no bounds as she spread love to anyone who needed it. She had an unwavering faith and her devotion to God shone through in every aspect of her life.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Gail is survived by her beloved husband Bruce Pedersen, sons Jamal Wood and Azariah Wood, granddaughters Ava Harris and Ariah Harris, brothers Mel "Tony" Valentine, Robert "Lee" Valentine and Raymond Valentine; sisters Elaine Valentine, Denise Jackson and Diane Bey, stepdaughter Karen Byron, stepsons Bruce Pedersen Jr. and Brian Pedersen, and countless cousins, nieces and nephews- each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Gail's passion for cooking brought joy to those around her as she shared delicious meals with family and friends. Her green thumb was evident in the beautiful gardens she tended with care - a reflection of the beauty she cultivated within herself.

Her presence will be deeply missed but the memories created together will live on forever. Gail touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May we find comfort in remembering Gail's infectious laughter and smile that could light up any room or how she always offered words of wisdom when they were needed most. Her spirit will continue to guide us through difficult times as we hold onto the precious memories we shared together.

In honoring Gail’s memory let us carry forward the values she held dear: love unconditionally like there’s no tomorrow and extend kindness whenever possible because these are gifts that can truly change someone’s world for the better.

A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 1pm in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 East Market Street Greensboro, NC 27401.
