A Time for Christian Discipleship â??At an early age he joined Mitchell Chapel AME Zion Church in Pittsboro, NC where he ushered and sang in the choir.A Time to Live â??Clyde graduated from Northwood High School, Pittsboro, NC in 1972. He enjoyed baseball and basketball. He attended Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC, Guilford Technical College and NC A&T State University, Greensboro, NC. He was honorably discharged from the U. S. Army and retiredfrom Qualicaps Inc. Whitsett, NC. A Time to Love â?? on June 5, 1977, he married Sandra Dowdy Alston and resided in Greensboro, NC until his death. Clyde was a loving and outgoing person and a Washington Redskin fan and loved spending time with his family â?? All who knew him will miss him dearly.A Time to Die â?? A much-loved husband, father, son and grandfather, he departed this life for his eternal life on Sunday, May 5, 2013 with his family present. He bravely confronted and fought COPD.A Time to Embrace â?? He was a devoted husband to his wifeSandra.
