Mr. Calvin Julius Rustin, III passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Calvin Julius Rustin, III (Naeem) was born to Christine
Ross and the late Calvin Julius Rustin, II. He was born May 8, 1964 in Boston, Massachusetts, and transitioned to his final resting place on April 2, 2024 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Calvin attended Shabazz High School in Newark, New Jersey. He later relocated to Greensboro, North
Carolina, in 1983.
Calvin was an avid motorcycle rider and a member of
the Trojan Motorcycle Club in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to his passion for riding, he loved to cook, party, play basketball and truly enjoyed life.
Calvin was blessed with five beautiful children: Charliene Lynch (Rodney Brasley, Caleb Brasley, Angel White) of Greensboro, North Carolina; Marilyn Gaither (Harmony White, Tania Rice, Thomas Rice, Kaylee Rice) of Greensboro, North Carolina; Calvin Julius Rustin IV of Greensboro, NC; Kalei and Kennedi Rustin of Columbus, Ohio. Sisters: Sheila D. Wilkes (Eugene Wilkes), Angela Townsend (James Townsend) and Chanel Mangum (Tony Mangum). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and a very loving and devoted friend.
A funeral service to honor him will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1pm in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel; Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 E. Market Street Greensboro, NC 27401. Visitation at 12:30 pm.
