It breaks my heart & I am so sorry for your loss.I just went through an Army CID investigation January 2121 after Command dismissed my fathers report favoring a USDB prisoner in Ft Leavenworth. So 50 years ago because of news today they do a CID investigation. Going back in history even 2018 is only because of the News Coverage pressure, where statements were made. This didn't need to happen, no excuse for rampant MST. Denisha has sacrificed more for democracy& this Country more than most could ever understand. Her family sacrificed, those that loved her, in ways that can never be fixed or repaid. Shout this from the roof tops & never stop. I am not new to this and it is all talk. The Military addresses the front line & that is how the British lost. Until democracy is given to MST, history will continue. Until they make it right to all they will keep hiding. I was counseled at 66yo that the Army is waiting for me to die of old age or suicide before I get benefits or help. Even after my CID investigation the brochure they handed me was over 2 years old & information not even valid anymore. Again I say this to encourage you to fight as things are not as they appear & the attack will be on your emotions. Shout it from the roof tops & connect with other families who have lost a daughter, a sister as you have.I was pushed aside & lied to for years till one day they said you waited too long, even though you didn't. The perpetrator a USDB prisoner of a Level III Maximum Security Prison with no accountability or even being watched, got counseling, 2yr College education/rehab, he was promised a future, he was given tools to be successful while being provided for along the way. Chances are I was told he went back into the Army to continue serving again. USDB houses death row, terrorists, rapists, murderers, serial killers & those with high sexual problems. I got nothing, no help. The thought of him returning to the ranks wi1th his sexual issues was heinous. I was called collateral damage & tossed aside. The value was in the prisoner, money spent & his use continuing on serving. I the victim had no value. The perpetrator treated me as an object & Command also treated me the same. It is a deep systematic problem & to get justice, to get answers that needs to be opened up. I am not collateral damage & neither is your daughter! I share this to encourage you to fight & keep shouting it from the roof tops.i am sorry for the loss, for the pain & the cost it will take to move on. People need to hear about your daughter & you deserve answers. Your daughter deserves this for signing up, for giving all for integrity, character, democracy & her Country.
If I am off in sharing I appologize. I just didn't know how to reach you. I couldn't imagine your pain & that from the 60's is still happening & multiplying as the years go on. That is wrong & you shouldn't be going through this. She was proud to be a soldier & her purpose filled her soul, till it was stolen from her. Love & prayers Bonny
