Mrs. Cassie Mae Caldwell, 96, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, January 1 2025 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.
Mrs. Caldwell was a member of First Baptist Church where she had served on the Usher Board. She loved to play cards with her family and was an avid cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Solomon, two daughters, Linda Howard and Michelle Skillman; a granddaughter Nicole Denson; a grandson Juan Churchill; a brother John T. Churchill.
She leaves to mourn her passing a son Anthony Caldwell; two daughters, Shirley Jones and Debra Montgomery (James); a brother, Thomas Churchill (Valarie);grandchildren, Shamona Seth, Angie Faraler (Duvall), Brandon Skillman, Brittany Caldwell and Triston Thompson; great-grand children, Terran Caldwell, Tearius Caldwell, Domnic Denson Camareius Caldwell and Kiara Seth; three great great grandchildren, Adrian, Judah and Shanon.
The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January11, 2025 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown Cemetery.
Visitation after 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
