Obituary For James Tony Montgomery

Mr. James Tony Montgomery, 70, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon.

James was preceded in death by his parents William and Ethel Howard Montgomery; three sisters JoElla Cuffeye, Ella Rea White, Barbara Jean Billingsley.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Montgomery of Elizabethtown; a daughter Shamona Seth; one granddaughter, Kiara Seth; two brothers Edward Howard, Barry Howard; two sister Peggy (Gary) Harbaugh, Linda (Ronald) O'Neal.

The funeral is 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 19, at First Baptist Church in Elizabethtown with the Rev. William Curle officiating.. Burial follows in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

Visitation after 6:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, at Percell and Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
