David Earl Wesley, 64, of Elizabethtown, KY, died Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter & Lena Belle Wesley.
He was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees.
He is survived by his wife Tina Compton Wesley; two sons, Christopher Wesley of Shelbyville, KY and Travis (Kayla) Wesley of Louisville,KY; a grandson, Preston Wesley of Louisville; three brothers, Charles (Dorothy) Weaver, Andrew Davis (Lisa) and Alfred (Antionette) Wesley; three sisters, Deloris Kindall, Katie (Sherman) Debreaux and Linda (John) Scott; a special nephew, Nathan Kindall; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 1:00p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Curle officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Zion Cemetery. Visitation after 6:00p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the funeral home.
