CSM (retired) Clarence L. Walker, 94, of Radcliff, died Saturday, June 3, 2023 at his residence.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Elizabethtown where he served as Deacon, Church Clerk, Comptroller and many other offices, he was a member of Luckett Lodge # 137 attaining the 33rd degree. He was a staff member of Percell & Sons Funeral Home for 22 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey Bedford and Althea Pearl Walker; brothers, Bill Walker, Rufus Walker and Ralph Walker; sisters, Athelia Witcher and Ethel Mattox.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Bruce Walker of Washington, D.C., Stewart Walker of Newport News, VA, Clarence Leonard (Frances) Walker, Jr. of Jeffersonville, IN and Patrick Devon (Ginny) Walker of Elizabethtown, KY; his daughters Jeannette Victoria Goodloe of Radcliff, Jewell Vanessa (Peter) Charles of Radcliff, Juanita Verdell Brassfield of Hanover, MD and Joyce Veronica Cowan (Michael) of Lawton, OK; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Elizabethtown with Dr. Roderick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff with full military rites. Visitation after 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the church.
