Mrs. Barbara Jean Luper, 93, of Radcliff, died Friday, January 17, 2025 at Baptist Health Hardin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Carl Luper; a brother Warren Longacre; and three sisters.
She was the former First Lady of Little Zion Baptist Church in Glendale; member of Morning Star Baptist Church where she served as President of the Mother's Board; a member of the Mt. Calvary District Association Missionary; a renown soloist.
She is survived by two sons, Devin Luper of Radcliff and Mark L. (Sandra) Luper of Louisville; three grandchildren, Latasha, Kasaundra and Anthony; seven great great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the KY Veterans Cemetery, Radcliff.
Visitation after 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Percell & Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

To Tasha, Shelle, Devin and the rest of the family, my condolences to you for losing the Matriarch of your family. My heart goes out to you all. Mother Luper was a praying woman who loved me and my daughter with her true love. She continuously covered me many many times, especially these last few years when I was in the Nursing Home. Her prayers and her love are still covering us all!! May The Comforter be with you all during this time!! I love you all and my prayers are with you!!
