Ms. Florence Pittman Jones of Greenwood, Florida gained her heavenly wings on July 15, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was 83 years of age.

She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the Senior Usher Board and in the Senior Choir.

Precious memories and cherished times of Florence will forever linger with a loving and devoted family: to include; one son, Kelvin Horne (Tanesia) of Columbia, SC; three daughters, Marthelma Love of Hampton, GA, Cherolyn Pittman of Marianna, FL and Farrah Webb of Prattville, AL; ten grandchildren, Sean Love (Crystal) of Atlanta, GA, Sapphire Garrett of Orlando, FL, Sylvianna Garrett of Atlanta, GA, Chernyka Love of Colorado Springs, CO, Shamari Garrett of Grand Ridge, FL, Kelvin Horne Jr. of Greenville, SC, Keith Horne of Elgin, SC, Mazariah Hogue of Tallahassee, FL, Jada Webb and Nia Webb both of Prattville, AL; seven great grandchildren, Matthias, Mahaliyah, Makaioh, Sean II, Kennadi, Skye, and Keith Jr.; one brother, Willie Pittman, Jr., of Marianna, FL; three sisters, Jennie Hartsfield (L.E.) of Greenwood, FL, Lucy Pittman of College Station, TX and Earline Paramore (Charles) of Marianna, FL; eight nephews, Harvey Callaway of Tampa, FL, Detres Hartsfield of Greenwood, FL, Bruce Jackson (Lady) of Greenwood, FL, Darryl Pittman (Yerlonda) of Bryan, TX, Tony Pittman (Frances) of College Station, TX, Charles Paramore (Suzane) of Greenwood, FL, Steve Paramore of Marianna, FL, and Ronnie Paramore of Dothan, AL; two nieces, Vivian Howard of Yuba City, CA and Lutina Milton (Lonnie) of Dothan, AL; special extended family, Phyllis Garrett of Greenwood, FL, Dwight Cobb of Greenwood, FL and Anthony Garrett of Warner Robbins, GA.

A public viewing will be held Friday, July 22nd from 3-6p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, July 23rd at 3p.m. at Second West Missionary Baptist Association Church with Reverend Dwight Cockerham, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
