It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Troy Alston on January 22, 2025, at the age of 53. Troy was born in Newark New Jersey at Saint Michaels hospital on Wednesday, June 16, 1971 to Charmain Alston (Duncan) and Curtis Sinclair. Troy was the middle child in more ways than one with a natural instinct to be a peacemaker. He was always able to avoid confrontation and had an innate ability to bring very challenging personalities together whether he was telling a joke or offering support.
Troy loved sports and as a child played football and also played basketball at the park with his friends and with his beloved sons Desmond and Jalen.
Survived by: his Mother Charmain (Willie Duncan)
sons Desmond Alston and Jalen Alston (Angela Alston)
