Obituary For William Oliver Beall Jr.

W. Oliver Beall Jr. (Ollie), 87, passed away unexpectedly on October 26, 2023 at his home in New Bern, North Carolina. Born July 25, 1936 in Annapolis, Maryland, a 1957 graduate of Washington College, Chestertown, Maryland. He married his college sweetheart and celebrated 66 years of marriage in June. Ollie began his career at INA in Philadelphia and retired after 23 years as Vice-President of William Hyman Insurance Agency. They moved to Fairfield Harbour soon after.

Ollie is survived by his wife, Rena Knickerbocker Beall (Nicky); children Cyndi Wallin (Kirby) and Judy Regrut (Mike) and five grandchildren; Jake and Kira Wallin, Caity, Maddy and Henry Regrut. He is predeceased by his son, Jeff Beall.

He shared his love of sports with family and friends, and he especially enjoyed coaching little league. Ollie touched many lives, always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.

His faith in God was first and foremost in his life.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Monday, November 6th at Saint Andrew Lutheran Church.
