Vernon Lee Cooper,83, of Oriental, NC died Saturday, July 2, 2022.

He is survived by his son, Keith Cooper, Bailey, NC; daughter Lisha Vereen, Bridgeport, CT; eleven grandchildren; brother, Reverend Willie Mose Cooper, Teaneck, New Jersey; sisters, Josephine Caldwell, Kingbird Heights, NY., and Cassandra Hackney, Raleigh, NC.
