As we had dinner after a volunteer shift at the GW Salvation Army, my alumni chapter Immediate Past President Tiffany ( a South Meck grad) and I ( a Bowman/Anson grad ), had good conversation and the name of Moultre Spencer came up. We had not known each other during our high school years but we each shared the life changing bond with "Mr. Spencer" and were both Aggie graduates because of him. At that moment we committed to calling and letting him know that we appreciated him. December 2024, we realized our loss. More to come..
Rest in peace. I remember you as a counselor at Bowman Sr. High School in Wadesboro, NC. Very kind and fun. Kaye Davidson

Nona, Niecy, and family. Mochie Lee was a strong man who enjoyed helping people and especially his
home boys. I ran in a bit hard times in Greensboro and Mouch was glad to
help. I last saw him in Pineville as I stopped in for a small visit and he
pleaded that I not get back on the road and he showed me my room for the
night. He had a kind heart.
Rest in peace my homeboy and my fellow Aggie !

He was a great mentor to me. During my time at South Meck, he was my confidante during a difficult time in my life. I'll forever be grateful for his love and guidance. My sincerest condolences to the Spencer family. May his memory be a blessing.
Life is the greatest gift that God has given us. Mr. Spencer's life will transcend beyond his years here on earth through his legacy. Mr. Spencer was an educator during my tenure at South Meck High School. He was eager to share his love and wisdom with all scholars. He made sure we applied to all the colleges we desired. He guided each scholar he encountered while holding us accountable for our actions. I chose the profession of an educator as well and I hope to have a lasting legacy like Mr. Spencer. My sincerest condolences and prayers are extended to his family, friends, former scholars and all those who loved Mr. Spencer. With Sympathy, Jacqueline Gause (South Meck C/O 1998)
My sincere condolences to the Spencer family. It is with a heavy heart that I must say goodbye to a friend and classmate. He always had a warm smile and made everyone laugh and feel at home He will be missed in this earthly home, but welcomed in his heavenly home Rest in peace. Brenda Hill and family
I am truly at a loss for words. Mr. Spencer was like a father to me, he was a mentor, and I truly have him to thank for much of the success in my life now. Guidance Counselor to many, but to "his kids" he was like another Dad to us all at South Meck. He made sure to look out for "his kids"! If we needed to be put in our place, he did that too! I spent hours upon hours in his office, listening to his jokes, listening to his wise words, and of course, watching him "think with his eyes closed" lol. I remember a time in my life when things got really bad for me. My parents went to Mr. Spencer for help. It was from this point that I knew just how much he really cared about me. I have him to thank for helping me through that tough time. I will never forget all that he did for me. I'd be remised if I didn't tell a short story of my dear Mr. Spencer.
Since I spent so much time in his office. I stole a pack of blank passes from his desk one day. I decided to write myself and friends late passes to class and sign his name. When he finally found out, he called me in the office and said, "NOW YOKIE! WHAT THE HELL YOU DO THAT FOR?!". I apologized and begged him not to call my mom. At the end of the conversation he sent me back to class. I asked for a pass and he said, "SIGN IT YOURSELF! I KNOW YOU GOT MORE OF MY PASSES IN THAT BAG!" lol, he was the best!
Janon and Bre, you both will always be in my prayers. I pray that you remember all the great moments you all had, all the great things he said, all the great jokes. Mr. Spencer, you will be missed. Rest in eternal peace. Lastly... AGGIE PRIDE! - Ayoka Primus Johnson

To Nona and Niecey and the rest of the family. I am deeply saddened by the passing of my friend and school mate and home boy. Moulch was quite a man. He was successful at any and everything he set his mind to. He was always so much fun to be around. He would always keep you laughing and in a cheerful mood. He used to love the out doors when he was a young man. He could out hunt and out shoot almost anybody. He was a top bicycle rider when we would all get bicycles for Christmas. We kept up with each other throughout elementary school, high school and college. I would go a visit him at A&T and he would come down and spend some time with me at NCCU. The last time he visited me was several years ago when I lived in Chesapeake, Virginia. He came up and spent a week end with me. He will be sorely missed. We always loved to talk sports together. Moulch was the Man! I can't believe he is gone. But the bible says everyman has an appointment with death and then the judgment. Rest in Peace My Brother, Absence from the body means presence with the Lord. Your home boy Kenneth A. Jordan alias Breeze.

To Wynona and the rest of the Spencer Family. Frank and I send our sincere condolences. Our hearts are heavy. I couldn't believe your text on Thanksgiving Day, informing us that your "big brother" had passed away suddenly. I know the special bond you shared. I can feel your pain. Although I haven't seen Moultre in many years, he looks the same in this picture. He looks like your dad Jack. I have great memories of spending time in your parents home. You always spoke highly of your brother. I knew he was your role model and you depended on him for advice. I didn't realize or understand until I was grown, how our DNA connected. Although I called your grandmother Aunt Nettie, I didn't know why. All the dots are now connected - your grandmother Nettie and my great grandmother Rachel were sisters. We are family and I'm grateful for your friendship since first grade. We are praying for the entire family during the sudden loss of someone very special in your life. With Sympathy, Franklin and Shrone Franks Wooten, Stafford, VA.
Moultre's Family...My condolences to the Spencer family. Moultre was a dear cousin that I admired as a young man growing up in Pollocksville. I loved to hang out with his friends because they were a little older. These guys were very smart in school. He will be missed. May his memories never fade as you grieve during the sudden loss of my cousin/friend. George Douglas Franks, Jr.
