I remember the young deputy who ate breakfast at the Berne Restaurant almost every day. He was very nice. Prayers for his family. RIP my friend
Sallie, Duke, Derrick, and Sandra, I was fortunate to have known Marshall. I worked with him for years at the Sheriff's Office under both Sheriff Bland, and Sheriff Monette. I recall his love of Mustangs, his dog, and our trips to Lawrenceburg, for training. He was very supportive of me in my career as a Law Enforcement Officer. I can not express my gratitude to you all for having shared him with his Law Enforcement family. Rest in peace my friend.....Mickey Tillman
He was a dedicated deputy and a dear friend. He is gonna be missed by so many. RIP my friend, your pain is gone
I met Marshall Taylor in the mid- 80's. He was a young slender Sergeant working for Pete Bland. Marshall would give you the shirt off of his back and would do anything he could to help you. He was a fair but stern law enforcement officer. The Lord Bless And Keep Him, May He Rest In Peace.
So sorry to hear of Marshall's passing. I went to Bridgeton School, way back when. He was always so quiet back then. Remember your happy memories, for they will see you through your dark & cloudy days. May God send His peace & comfort for the days, weeks, months & years ahead.
Marshall was a great man and a dedicated law man.He was a very caring person and a good investigator. I had the pleasure of working with Marshall for almost 30 years when he retired as Cheif Deputy. I also loved and respected him .....Jesse Pittman
