Leonard Johnson,84, of Vandemere passed Friday, May 3, 2024 at CarolinaEast Medical Center, New Bern.
His Celebration of Life Service is 11:00 AM, Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Mt. Olive M. B. Church, 9335 Hwy. 304 N, Mesic.
He is survived by his son, Karl L. Jones, Cash Corner; two daughters, Chronitta Johnson, Vandemere and Karla Kilpatrick, Goldsboro, NC; brother, Robert Johnson, Maribel; sister, Jane Smith, Westwood, NJ; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Cousin Lenny was a nice, kind, intelligent man who loved to laugh and have fun. I will miss him especially during voting times. We worked together on the Vandemere Precinct.
