A veteran who served our country, your beautiful family, an Alumni of 1 of the most well known HBCU's of all time, an author of 2 amazing books... It was an HONOR to have met you in 2019. I'll cherish our friendship, conversations, laughs, the advice that you gave me (Infinity). Rest Easy Hooah! To your family my deepest condolences. Marilyn PGW '90-'91
My friend Joe inspired me to write my first book, was a great golf-buddy, and most importantly a pious man of God. I witnessed him fight the good fight and will miss being able to pick up the phone and talk to him about our writings, or his beloved Pittsburg Steelers. Rest in peace my brother. You were loved.
My condolences to the family. Crystal Tucker
Sending My heartfelt condolences to the family of Joe. Joe was my neighbor here in Greensboro. Before he got sick he would often walk the neighborhood around 8:30 - 9 in the evening and I would be outside and we would end up talking for 30-45 minutes. We often would play golf together and actually went on a couple golf trips together. Going to miss you Joe. You are a good brother with a good heart.
RIP Bro.

To the George family and friends I send my prayers and condolences to each and everyone. Me and jb go way back especially after we returned from desert Storm. The last time I talked to him he just arrived in d.c.. I would always send him something related to the veterans affairs. He guided and prayed with me during the death of my mother. I recently was diagnosed with cancer as well and jb was a go to for guidance and support. He however told me his cancer had returned and I tried to guide and support him as well. A soldier gone to soon☹️! You done your job. R.i.p my brother. Fred Simmons
