Daddy, it's been 9 days and phone still hasn't rung. This is surreal to me. I am struggling to process this still. I know just as you always looked out for me on earth, I now have an angel watching over me from heaven. I'm going to do my best to make you proud. May you rest in heaven daddy until we meet beyond the clouds. Xoxoxo
May the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rest strongly upon the entire family of James C. Moore.

Even though it is understood that all of us will one day have to transition from this earth, when a close friend or family member passes, it still comes as a shock, to me. Bro John and a group of us boys grew up together in the community and the church where we were all family. As we grew up and life separated us into different zip codes around the states and the world, whenever we would meet again, the bond formed as children seemed just as strong regardless of how physical appearances had changed. Bro John remained true to his God and faith through the years. Even though we did not get together as often as we would have desired, I will miss my brother in Christ. To the family, please know that somewhere beyond this earth, they are tuning up the choir and striking up the band as another soldier is coming home. Leander Forbes, Jr. and family.
