Robinson Family, please accept our sincere condolences. Where do you begin to express the loss of someone so kind, loving and just an amazing person! My friendship began with Jay when I had the pleasure of working with him, then it soon continued as he was a friend, uncle and brother to my son and his boys. Just to express the manner in which Jay touched people, my son said" Mom, New Bern should have a parade to honor him." His spirit was just that contagious with everyone he met! Once he knew you you became his sister, brother, niece, nephew, uncle, aunt or mom. He never referred to you again as just a co-worker or friend, you literally became a relative when he introduced you to others! He will truly be missed and New Bern will be a little dimmer without the light he bought with him when he was in our presence. Missing our extended family member
