News of David's death reached me earlier this week, leaving me surprised and saddened. We had spoken periodically after Florence hit New Bern, with his bringing me up to date on conditions there as well as providing news reports on the extended Millns family. I so enjoyed those conversations. Time gets away from us and now David's gone. He was a kind and gentle soul. My sympathy to Kathy and Robbie and Reid. Warmly, Jeannie
David, our beloved friend and father. Reid would have been at your side when you died if he had known you were so ill. Our faith tells us that the Lord has explained to you the truth of the errors made and that you understand. You are loved now and through eternity.
My sweet, dear brother-in-law, I will miss you terribly! You were really a brother to me and a loving friend. I sure will miss our phone calls, laughs and teasing as only a family can do! Take care of Magpie! I'll love you forever! Mary Stewart Carlisle
Praying for the family. May His comfort cover you like a warm blanket during this time of grief. I will miss his amazing sense of humor, our breakfasts and brunches on Friday. Rest well my friend until we meet again! Kathy Tuttle
