My sincere Condolences to the family, you are in my prayers.I knew and grew up with his sister Darlene when they lived in McKinley Projects, I lived in Woodstock Terrace which was right behind their building in The Bronx. As we got older everybody started "branching out" and I hadn't seen them in years, but I just read about his passing and was saddened to hear of this. May he Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Charles knight. When I first became a probationary Police Officer, at PSA 6, Charles was one of the first Officers on. He always had a smile on his face and he always looked out for me. He will always be remembered by me as a good Brother and friend and I'm going to miss him dearly. To his family, I pray that the One God ,who created Heaven and Earth be pleased with my brother and comfort the entire family. Phillip Hannah
My condolences to the Knight Family: "Chico" (a.k.a. Charles Knight) was mine and my brother, Jerry's, friend at Christopher Columbus H.S. In 1963/64, there were only a handful of black students, in a predominately white school. In our group of about 10, Chico was among the funniest. During lunch hour, we always ate at the same tables everyday,of course it wasn't hard to spot us in a sea of whites and laughter echoed throughout the cafeteria wherever we gathered--it was our best time of the day! These memories will always remain a delightful moment in time and will be cherished eternally. "Chico, rest in peace" Many blessings... Yvonne Walker
