Obituary For Benjamin J. Godette

Benjamin Jeremiah Godette, 92, New Bern, passed on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Crystal Coast Hospice, Newport, North Carolina.

Family and friends visitation 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday at Oscar's Mortuary.

His funeral service is 1:00 PM, Monday. December 23, 2024 at St. Peter's AME Zion Church, 617 Queen Street, New Bern. The interment will follow at the Meadows Cemetery-James City Community, New Bern.

He is survived by his daughter, Iris Godette; son, Myron Godette; brothers, Edward Bell, Robert Bell; sisters, Delilah Bryant, Azalee Godette, Jettie Bell, Cherrye Bell; aunts, Effie Mae Foster, Nettie Frazier, Eliza Jane Godette; sister-in-law, Ludie B. Baker (Wilbert).
